About DJ Omid Javan

DJ Omid Javan (DJ O.J.) has been part of Houston’s music and entertainment scene since 1999, building more than 25 years of experience behind the decks and at live events.

His career began in Houston’s Galleria-area bars and clubs, before expanding into the thriving Downtown Houston nightlife scene and later Midtown. Over the years, Omid performed at numerous clubs and venues throughout Houston while also DJing events across Texas, including Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, South Padre Island, and beyond.

As his career evolved, Omid expanded beyond nightlife into private events, producing and organizing his own events while developing a strong reputation in the wedding and multicultural event industry.

Today, through Javan Entertainment, DJ Omid Javan specializes in multicultural weddings, engagements, and special events. He has performed at more than 200 multicultural weddings and engagement celebrations, working with couples and families from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.

His open-format mixing style allows him to seamlessly transition between Persian, American, Arabic, Turkish, Latin, Hip-Hop, House, EDM, and international music, creating a dance floor where different generations and cultures can celebrate together.

With more than 25 years of experience, Omid brings much more than music to an event. His experience reading diverse crowds, managing the flow of a celebration, coordinating with vendors, and adapting in real time allows each event to feel natural rather than scripted.
